The sea has played a huge part in the history of Aberdeen and the beach which curves between the harbour and the mouth of the River Don is famous for it’s golden sand. Only a short distance from the city centre, the award winning beach is visited by holiday makers and city residents all year round.

The promenade is a favourite with walkers, skaters and windsurfers alike and also plays host to an entertainment complex, which includes; The Beach Leisure Centre, Codona’s Amusement Park and a cinema/restaurant complex.
